Acceptable Use Policy

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is incorporated into the Novi Most Terms of Service and applies to Customers and Users of the Novi Most web Service. Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms. Novi Most may investigate reasonable reports of suspected misuse and take proportionate action under the Terms.

Honest estimates and legal business conduct

Customer must not use the Service to deceive a homeowner, insurer, lender, government agency, or other person; falsify or inflate estimates, measurements, invoices, materials, dates, work performed, or property conditions; impersonate another company; misuse another company's logo or license; evade taxes; or engage in insurance fraud. Customer must not offer, record, or facilitate a waiver, absorption, rebate, or other avoidance of a required homeowner insurance deductible. Customer must not perform public-adjuster activities requiring a license it does not hold. Customer is responsible for legal disclosures and contract terms required for its roofing work.

Email, text, and recipient consent

Messages through the Service must be transactional and reasonably related to an estimate, job, or service the recipient requested or expects. Marketing, promotions, coupons, sweepstakes, lead-generation, and storm-chasing solicitations are prohibited through the Service even if a recipient has consented. Customer must have a lawful basis and required consent, maintain relevant records, identify itself accurately, send at reasonable legally permitted hours, follow all opt-outs promptly, and comply with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, applicable Texas law, carrier requirements, and SMS Messaging Terms.

Customer must not use purchased, rented, shared, or scraped contact lists. Consent and opt-out information must not be treated as transferable between companies. Message content must not be threatening, harassing, deceptive, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.

Information and files

Customer must not upload information it has no right to use or information the Service is not designed to protect. In particular, do not submit Social Security numbers, individual government identification numbers, full bank or payment card credentials, health or medical information, passwords for other services, or similarly sensitive data. Customer is responsible for confirming that it has rights to use submitted files, logos, reports, and personal information. Customer must verify recipients and link-sharing settings before sending any file; do not assume a file link is authenticated or restricted to one named person.

Security, intellectual property, and interference

Users may not access or attempt to access another company's account or data; share credentials with people outside their company; bypass access controls, usage limits, or security measures; probe, scan, or test systems without written authorization; upload malicious code; disrupt or overload the Service; scrape the Service through automated tools; reverse engineer or copy the Service except where applicable law permits; resell or sublicense it; or use it to build a competing product. Users must report a suspected vulnerability to admin@novimost.app and avoid accessing anyone else's data or exploiting the issue.

Enforcement and reports

Novi Most may remove or restrict content or messaging, suspend access, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary under the Terms, including to respond to suspected fraud, security risk, legal obligation, provider restrictions, or repeated policy violation. Where reasonable and lawful, Novi Most will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Novi Most may cooperate with law enforcement, carriers, and providers as lawfully appropriate. Failure to act in one instance is not a waiver. Report abuse, unsolicited messages, or suspected fraudulent estimates to admin@novimost.app with the sender, date, and relevant details.
